| Bob and I visited Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA on June 26, 2005. It was a very hot day but we enjoyed it tremendously. The estate of Pierre S. du Pont covers more than a thousand acres of outdoor gardens, fields, and woodlands. There are many fountains scattered over the grounds as well as the massive conservatories. We ate at the Terrace Restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. Although it was a scorching 95 degrees, we had a terrific time. |  |
