Robert Linton Bolvin was born in Huntsville, AL.
Because his dad was in the Army, Bob and his family moved
around a great
deal. Bob has 5 sisters, Beverly,
Betsy, Dori, Patti, and Judi from oldest to youngest. Bob lived in Tiawan
when he was a child. He was quite the favorite of the Tiawanese since
he had blond hair and blue eyes.
Bob graduated from high school in Pennacook, NH and enlisted in the Army at the age of 17. He was originally assigned to learn to pilot helicopters but changed to air traffic controller. He was stationed in what was then West Germany for several years. After a nasty accident, Bob was discharged from the Army and returned to his family home in North Anson, ME.
He went on to attend University of Maine at Farmington with a major in Mathematics and Computer Science and a minor in Physics. He graduated and went to work for Hathaway Shirt Company where he was Coordinator of International Transportation. When Hathway closed, Bob got a job at NRF Distributers in Augusta, ME. He is the manager of Network Operations and Telecommunication. That's fancy talk for computer geek in charge of other computer geeks.
Bob enjoys building and remodeling, reading and
music. The apple of Bob's eye these days is his daughter, Abigail.
